| Farm Home | 80-90 EUR | "Podere Poggetto is a Farmhouse which lies near Barberino val d’Elsa, among the gentle hills of the famous Chianti area. A region with a high cultural interest that goes fron Florence to Siena. The Farmhouse stretches on a vast surface of about 16 hectares on which typical cultivations of grapewine and olive trees, merge in the beutiful landscape of the Chianti scrub. Since the estate is part of a protected area, several species of animals can be found on the property. The Farmhouse itself, stands in the middle of the property and it is divided in two big appartments:The first appartement, on ground floor, streches on 80 square meters and can accomodate from 4 to 6 guests. It is composed of two double bedded spacious rooms, a bathroom with bath tub and a very confortable living room in which a fireplace and a new extra furnished kitchen can be found. The second appartement, situated on the first floor, can accomodate from 6 to 8 guests and has a surface of 120 square meters. It is composed of 3 double bedded rooms, two bathrooms, one with bath tub, the other with a shower, a spacious living room in which a new extra furnished kitchen and a fireplace can be found and a beautiful solarium from which a unique view of the hills can be seen. Both appartments have been finely renewed and furnished keeping the same old Chianti country style. Very next to the building, spaces have been conceived to delight our guests’ stay: a round swimming pool, a pallaio to play bowls, a playground for kids with a swing and a slide, a table tennis and a wonderful big brick barbecue where guests can grill their own meat. Garden tables, chairs and Sunbeds are provided free of charge, there is ample free parking. There are exellent typical restaurants onlya few minutes away by car and one is just a few minutes walk. Supermarkets are about ten minutes away by car. Florence Airport is approximately 40 minutes away and Pisa airport is approximately on hour and fifteen minutes away. Advance bookings are accepted and a deposit or creditcard number with name and expiry date is required to confirm the booking.
