Set on the hills overlooking the lake in the River Tiber Natural Park, and near the Alviano Nature Reserve, the Barberani Farm Holiday Centre offers independent apartments in the restored old stone farmhouses of the Vallesanta Estates, enjoying a hillside site of 70 hectares in the Orvieto Classico DOC wine-producing region (45 hectares of which dedicated to vineyards). The production of quality wines - taking the names of the various Vineyards where the grapes are grown (Calcaia, Castagnolo, Selvaso, Pomaio, Polvento, Pulicchio, Polago, Foresco - which equally give their names to the apartments themselves) - is the main activity of the Estate, which grows its own, noble and traditional grapes.
